This course is being facilitated by Martin Fingland, Cert. IV in Assessment & Workplace Training; BA. App. Sci. UQ. from Geckoes Wildlife Pty Ltd.

This course is a blend of the TAFE courses ‘Basic Care of Reptiles & Amphibians in Captivity’ and ‘Advanced Reptile Husbandry’ which are recognised by the Department of Environment & Science (DES) in meeting their requirements for staff working with reptiles under Qld wildlife licences.   

All participants will gain a demonstrated knowledge of the  principals and procedures involved in captive reptile husbandry and care, based on an understanding of the biology, ecology and behaviour of commonly kept reptiles.
